So my question, as I haven't signed up for Threadable yet.… you'll post every chapter on Threadable, we read it there, and can comment/have conversations in the margins? And then periodic Zoom calls. Or do we have to buy it for ourselves and read on our own and use threadable as a type of chatroom to talk about discussion points? Sorry for my confusion but this sounds really interesting and I’m looking forward to getting started with this! Hoping I can make the time to squeeze this in because the book and idea sound great!
I'm less than two paragraphs into the introduction and realizing Threadable isn't something I'm going to love. It's too much like buying a book someone else highlighted or underlined in ways that don't fit with how my brain works. I'm going to read the book on my Kindle where I can do my own highlighting.
I wish Threadable had an option for turning off the underlining to read there, then turning it back on to decide if I want to add to the comments. I haven't found one and maybe that's too much at odds with the purpose of that platform.
In addition to the explanation itself regarding loss aversion and a series on the science behind happiness that I find absolutely fascinating, I think an interesting contribution of this article is also the way it is written. For me, who writes my newsletter by reading and talking above all about what researchers talk about in their papers, it is an excellent comparison and inspiration of clarity, of alternation with technical insights at different levels and alongside graphs, in addition to the intriguing world in which everything is told. I strongly recommend reading it, thanks for sharing.
I've never used Threadable before. Intrigued!

It doesn’t come up with a search? I’m on the app, which seemed to be easier.
I read the introduction and then nothing happened??

Thanks for this Mike. I look forward to investigating Threadable.
