Thanks for the reminder to drink water amidst everything. That’s something we all have in common, actually, being mostly water.

I voted last month (thankfully we have mail-in voting!). Nothing more I can do, no point stressing out, it's going to be what it will be.

I did watch The Onion clip you provided. I can't see reading about domestic violence as a way to relax however, I'll skip that one....

Exercise is always a grand option, and good reminder about drinking water!

Cheers. (hoping for the best).

Either you’re a slow walker or you have incredible stamina. Or you maybe a very fast listener. Phew!

I'm so terrified. But will also be going for a walk in the woods and breathing and taking one step at a time. Thank you for sharing this and recognizing the fear we may be carrying ❤️

Mentioning the Appalachians brought a flood of memories back from when I could have at last THOUGHT OF attempting such a thing without needing to have oxygen, & MAYBE a steady IV drip of adrenaline. Let's face that none of us are getting younger.

Just subscribed. You’ll be happy to know I’ve distracted myself from our horrific election outcome by rewatching Outlander, the gorgeous Scottish romance/time traveling tale of Scottish Highlanders and mean, nasty imperialistic Britain in the 1700’s. I drink lots of water while watching and sometimes get up and take a walk. Finding this substack newsletter may inspire me to put down the iPad and noise canceling headphones and actual book a trip to Scotland. If only to hear you all talk of twaddle.
