Wow, what a ride - from several trillion miles to nanoscale colour spectrum. I couldn't get the red and green to flash, but I saw a reddish green that looked like splotchy brown. I always had trouble with the seeing eye pics too, had to put it next to my face and move it out slowly while trying not to lose 'focus', which was always awkward when I was trying to see one on a poster in the window of a game shop 😝. Probably a good thing that trend ended.

Fist bumps, Shoni. No flicking red and green for me (that sounds like I'm half-swearing). Instead, the two colors blended into a color gradient situation, sort of like this: https://www.shutterstock.com/image-vector/complemantary-colour-red-green-gradient-mesh-1730221480. I was also terrible at the Seeing Eye games and felt lame because of it!

Lately, probably from too much screen time, I've been getting what are called retinal migraines that look like a crescent-shaped kaleidoscope rainbow in one eye. Not related but very colorful! 🌈

Did you ever notice that if you cross your eyes at the Seeing Eye pictures, the pictures are inverted? Like, the background comes forward and the image goes back. That was a bit of a hack I used to be able to decipher them! Crescent-shaped kaleidoscope rainbows sound alright. Better than the usual definition of a migraine, anyway!

Fist bumps right back at you!!

Ha - never tried that one, but I will if/when I come across a Seeing Eye opportunity again. Fortunately retinal (ocular) migraines, or mine, at least, are painless and only last about half an hour. A little trippy.

You teach me so much. The flashy red and green thing was rather disturbing Mike.

I love the Leaning Tower Illusion! Thanks for calling it out and giving me a name to call it. "Devil doppelganger" had a nice ring, but it wasn't totally accurate.

I may have once seen some colors you're not supposed to be able to see.

Mike, I also appreciate breaking brains! This very nearly broke mine (the "Monty Hall problem" in case you already know it): https://goatfury.substack.com/p/goats-behind-doors

I'm sure I got excited last time I read this article but I'm going to do it again anyway. Ahem.

SOMEONE ELSE KNOWS OF FALLEN LONDON! One day I will get that b---dy zubmarine. And there's a mention of Sir Pterry. Thanks Mike.

RIP, Terry. I have an unopened copy, still in the plastic, so I always have one more to go.

Unfortunately, I must be a dud, because I ended up with wandering crosses, and instead of impossible colors, I got extra coloured boxes. I'm guessing that wasn't part of the programme.

AGAIN, I FEEL SMARTER ALREADY !

I have an issue with reports talking about exoplanets then describing them as " Earthlike worlds ". Maybe in SIZE they're like terrestrial worlds, but in the factors that MATTER, very likely not. Some may been destroyed by the time we see their images.
